What We Do
Hearts & Hammers provide exterior "home rehab" for deserving homeowners in the Twin Cities area. Rehab work typically includes painting, caulking, ramp construction, siding replacement, landscape and other services to restore the character of the home and to improve its weatherproofing and security.

Who We Serve
Hearts & Hammers assists homeowners who have limited access to home-improvement programs, specifically the elderly and those who are physically disabled. Homes with the greatest need, typically those in urban areas, are given the highest priority. Hearts & Hammers coordinates with city agencies, religious organizations and community groups to select deserving homes and neighborhoods.

How You Can Help
Hearts & Hammers relies upon our generous volunteers and the financial support of organizations in our community. Now entering our ninth year of serving the Twin Cities area, Hearts & Hammers is seeking the partnership of organizations throughout our community to continue building the program into a significant resource to serve more deserving homeowners. Donations of time (regardless of home repair ability), money and materials are greatly appreciated.
